Should I start Alex Smith or Matt Ryan?

In my league, there is two starting qb slots. I have Brees, Alex Smith, and Matt Ryan. Two weeks ago I benched Matt Ryan because of his poor play, and signed Alex Smith and he has been doing pretty well the last week and this week. (Scoring 21 points in both games in the two weeks.) Next week playoffs starts and I am the two seed finishing the season at 9-4. I am wondering if I should start Matt Ryan who has been playing decent (This week scored 15 points). He is playing the Packers, who don't have a great defense. But then Alex Smith is playing the Redskins. Who should I start next week for fantasy? Thanks and good luck in your playoffs!

Update:

And this is for week 14 so you guys know.

Many people don't understand how Drew Brees works. He's got a certain number of touchdowns and yards inside of him that he's going to throw in any given year. And when he has a game like he did this week, those yards and touchdowns start to get bottled up and pressure begins to build up inside of Drew Brees until he goes off like a cork out of a bottle of champagne that just got shaken up. So I think you're making the right call in starting Brees.

On a serious note, Matt Ryan doesn't play as well outdoors as he does indoors, and this time of year I wouldn't bank on Ryan throwing in Green Bay.

Smith. His receivers are better and healthier, and he has had the hot hand recently
