Obama Support & Racism?

Nobody voted for Obama just because of race. Such claims are a lame attempt to distract people from the gross incompetence of the Republican Party over the last two decades.

Logic dictates if one party starts a prolonged war based on lies and allows for the national economy to implode, they lose elections even if they are running against trained seals.

Edit for Rerugged: You are full of it. Over 90% of blacks vote for white Democrats, too. Republicans have just ruined themselves in the eyes of black Americans that badly. It turns out that constantly blaming blacks for society's problems instead of helping them escape the cycle of poverty does NOT win them many black friends.

Racism means thinking that races are inherently different and some races are inferior to others. That's what it means, look it up.

Voting for a guy because it's the first time a black man will be president doesn't constitute racism. Not unless you are doing it because you feel all whites are inferior to black people. Or you think NO WHITE should ever be president. And I don't think very many people would think that.

It may be politically correct to vote for a black man. It may be cool. But that doesn't mean it is racist.

I had the choice between the GOP, Romney, who does not reflect my views, and the Democrat, Obama, who does.

Obama being half black did not enter into the equation for my vote.

When @Reg says "When 95% of the (black) voters vote for Obama, it can only be race", I will assume, then, that as 100% of white voters voted for Reagan, that also must be only because of race.

Chewy is full of it. When 95% of the back voters vote for Obama, it can only be race. People seem to forget that Obama is one-half white. I personally don't like either half.

Who knows the answer to that. I heard one black politician say that only whites can be racist... how stupid is that?

Some people voted against Obama because he was black. I don't know one person who voted for Obama because he is black but do know several who voted against him because he is black.
