Suddenly I had four answers and two questions reported for violations?
None of them were in violation! Most were about crafts, cooking, etc. Two of them were a little more serious - seeking advice on finding a source of income.
I understand that "report monkeys" exist, and perhaps someone got their toes stepped on when I answered a question about religion. My question is, what happens when someone becomes a target of a stalker like this?
Bingalee : Really? I answered a question about how to learn to do cross stitch. I asked how to find my GPA. I answered a question about how to drive with a hot Thanksgiving casserole dish in the car...

there appears to be a reporter troll or stalker on yahoo canada , check the violation notices to see the where the violation came from I have had ten non violations reported from yahoo canada even though I have never posted there, shamefully only two appeals were upheld and 4 couldn't be appealed as the appeal link didn't work

Usually these things come down to a user being unaware of the rules in some way - rather than anything sinister - and someone spotted the pattern. With older questions, it commonly happens when "tie-busters" (users resolving old questions) encounter them.
A glance at your older questions on religious topics suggests you need to be cautious to avoid rant violations: questions framed to air your opinion on the topic you're asking about. Also, using Additional Details for extensive dialogue/dispute with answerers is a chat violation.
If you're on the radar for something like this, there's nothing you can do about past posts, but you can stop any posting pattern that's attracting reports.
Canada's unlikely to be significant - *everybody* is using the Canada Y!A because it's the only one that hasn't switched to the unpopular new format.

There are no such things as 'report monkeys'! Reliable & trusted members report successfully because they know the rules better than you.Qs asking about making money are deleted more often than not as they may be seen as soliciting.Chat is another offence many younger people don't understand, they see YA as a social site IMO.There are sections in YA it's best to stay away from to avoid being reported, the worst two I am led to believe are P & S and R & S.Just be aware of the guidelines and you won't be reported.
