Should we all make an effort to live united in the United States?

To be united, you have to be EQUAL.

truthfully.. I think the diversity of cultures make America a very interesting place. I think values and cultures of a people is important. but I also believe that there needs to be a unity and a respect for all. all americans should have the knowledge of English..regardless. a knowledge of the laws and government of united states and tolerance for individuals different than themselves. I would not want to live in a country where you have to think..look and act alike..ie north korea. some people divide do to ignorance. this is sad. there will always be different views and ideas on racism. you just have to hope that there will be justice in decisions..and their acts just .no one has a right to think themselves superior.but a common language and a fundamental belief in the united states system is important..

This isn't just a United States problem this is a problem all around the world. As long as someones skin tone, culture ,and facial features are different there is always going to be division.

you want to eliminate racism? I'm fine with that. But it has become subconscious to many who don't even realize it. I don't think it is a futile attempt however.
