Well Stonehenge is a place I really want to visit. Some say it was a place of worship while others think it was a place for witches. So I bet if you study it a bit you could come up with an argument for witches or worship. If you think they are the same thing then there is another argument, right?

Source(s): I believe Stonehenge is a place for witches................but you never know until you read about it from a few sources.

You could argue that Stonehenge was built by 'Aliens' as a landing base, radio beacon, whatever. Highly fancifull but nearly impossible to disprove or prove. OR, You could argue that it was built & used as a sporting arena. You could say that the rest of it was made from local timber which has long scince decayed & become part of the soil leaving only the stone base we see today. You could argue that the ancient Druids built Stonehenge to be used as an ancient 'Hogwarts' where they went to learn magic. Then you could argue that the entire building still stands today but can only be seen or felt by those who have learned enough magic to be able to see it. (just like in the Harry Potter books). 'TIP' : If you try to base your arguement on any historical facts, you leave yourself wide open to be told how wrong you are. Historical facts are still inconclusive about it & are open to different points of view. If you try to get really 'fancifull' in your arguement, your paper will be put aside & treated as just some wild fantasy. So, If you try to combine the two of these & If you can present your arguement in a way that it cannot be disproven, then any attempt by your teacher / professor to discredit your paper in any way, can only be his/her own personal point of view, & that would be very unprofessional of any teacher to do that!"

You could talk about how crappy Stonehenge is. I mean really, it just looks like a pile of rocks when you compare it to all the pyramids that were being built as far back as 30,000 years ago.
