Are people losing their Medicare coverage because of Obamacare? Why?
On a friend's Facebook thread, someone said that her sister, who was born with a defect is losing her Medicare coverage because of Obamacare and cannot afford to get coverage through Obamacare.
I have already logged on to Obamacare and got an estimate (as a commuting student who works part-time, I make very little money) for a quite low monthly premium and subsidy. I am confused as to why this disabled woman's costs might be higher. Apparently, she isn't able to work.

People are spreading vicious lies about Obamacare as mouthpieces for the Republican party who are trying to wreck the whole plan and make sure younger people dont get subsidies and dont buy insurance. How vindictive and underhanded can humans be!

She may have income you and I are not aware of. Many people do not spend their money wisely and are in credit card debt. But if you filed for it and it was cheap- it proves there must be more to the story!

No. She is lying. Medicare is based on her work record, and has nothing to do with the healthcare law.
