Good comebacks for when you are being insulted?
I have this friend who doesn't outright insult me, but at our lunch table she says, "Hey have you guys noticed that (my name) is really bad at this, or doesn't know how to do this, or has this really bad habit, you know, just saying" and it bothers me a lot. Recently, she has been doing this quite frequently and it is really starting to hurt my self-confidence, which isn't very high to begin with. I don't want to be rude and say something too snippy because everyone else at my table thinks it's a joke or no big deal, but I want a polite way to shut her up for good, because it's really annoying and makes me feel self-conscious. I try to keep my distance from her but we are a part of the same friend group so it's hard to completely stop seeing her. Sorry this is so long, but thanks for the help(:

If she insults you or makes fun of your habit just say "oh and your perfect?". If she says something like its ok only a joke or stop over reacting then say something that tells her it wasn't funny. If she decides to be snooty and answer yes then I would say "i wouldn't bet on it". Just get creative, kinda teach yourself some come-backs. I did cause theirs lots of b*tch's at my school even guys can be jerks. Just dont be really mean unless you nees to, try to make it good don't go all out making your self look stupid. Just show her she needs to shut up and you will look cool(for standing up to her if she doesnt show you).

Well you could always say ***** please don't be talking ****. But considering you said you wanted a more polite approach to shut her up i will respect your request. Well first off theirs really not any certain come backs that can help you too much, but what it seems like is happening is that shes being an outright ***** but doing it somewhat submissively in order to gain attention. But i would say the best you can do is to tell her is to stop, you can't simply tell her to Shut up and get angry because she'll use that against you can say something like "Stop overacting i was just joking oh my god."

I know this is the most basic advice ever but let it go there will be biotches in school and clearly she is one of them but if she does it again why not try to say: Have you guys noticed what a jerk ______
has been lately, what is up with her
