Can I buy a tripod/telescopic lens for iPhone 5S?
I would like to film & broadcast my local high school's football games live over the internet. I know there are steps to take, permissions to ask & money to be shared from a pay-to-view internet video feed and I will be looking into that.
Now, what I'm looking for is some kind of tripod and "camera lens addition" combo so I could set up in/on the press box and be able to zoom in occasionally without the digital zoom graininess becoming too much of an issue. Pretty much I'd like some kind of telescopic do-hickey that attaches to the phone's camera lens and a tripod to set it all on (preferably a tripod with an aiming handle for the phone).
I want to do this with an iPhone (5S) because of the simplicity... It has a decent camera and high-speed cellular internet connectivity (LTE). Honestly, I haven't even looked into live-broadcasting apps but I'm sure there has to be something out there.
Anyway, if anyone reading this knows of a product that would fill my needs, please let me know.
Thank you & have a nice day.

There are tripods with telescopic legs and there are lenses that are telescopic but there is no such thing as a tripod/telescopic lens combo for the iPhone, camera or whatever. There are separate tripods and lenses however that would apply to the iPhone and the best section to ask is under phones, not cameras.

Sorry, there is not an app for that...
You really need to think about using something with more capability than a smartphone. Try this - record a football game without broadcasting it on the internet and see just how successful you will be. If the smartphone is not adequate enough to do this simple step, then save yourself some money and go a different route.
The two major problems you are going to have is a tiny picture and poor lighting as the iPhone does neither well.

Sony makes a 'lens system with sensor' which can then be hooked up to an advanced mobile phone, so go to a good camera retailer and ask to try it in combination with your phone. Almost certainly that system has a tripod connection, so a medium priced tripod could be attached - ask at the retailer at the same time. There is nothing that could be directly attached to your phone's lens which would give good quality pics at a distance.

Yes, of course there are tripods for iphones.
There are also attachments that let you stick your iphone on a "real" tripod.
There are "telephoto lens" attachments you can connect to your iphone.
There are also attachments that let you affix your DLSR lenses as well.
Basically though, the lens attachments are gimmick items and will not produce quality images.
What you want to do is beyond the capabilities of an iphone. While it may be "possible", your results are going to be terrible at best.
Unless this is something you want to do just for a "proof of concept", you will be wasting time and money.

Manfrotto has iPhone compatible tripods and case mounts. Manfrotto is one of the most respected and famous Photo equipment companies on the market.
I think Joby has some as well.
