What are some creative ideas for a timeline?

I have a drug project that counts for a HUGE amount of my grade. The timeline I originally did was not good enough because my teacher said it was not creative. My drug is INHALANTS (Spray Paint, Airplane Glue) and the timeline needs to be about the history of the drug. Any ideas?

Let me first say how wonderful it is that you're doing a project about the dangers of inhalant use. (I didn't put "abuse" since even one time may result in permanent brain damage or even death.) My friend actually has a severe BRAIN INJURY from huffing at the age of 12, now in her 30s.

The products used for huffing are actual POISONS that were never meant to go through the bloodstream.

For more general info re: the dangers of huffing - National Inhalant Prevention Coalition: http://www.inhalants.org/

With regard to your project, I'd seen an article many years ago of which a mother who lost her son to inhalant use made a poster with the typical inhalant types of products and instead of having "spray paint" written on the bottle, the "new" name was "Brain Eraser".

I don't personally know anything about this site, but it has more info re: the history of inhalants: http://www.drugfreeworld.org/drugfacts/inhalants/a...

I'm sure that you'll do well. Best of luck and health to you, and please do make good, *healthy* choices in life :)

Make a huge poster with the products on it? Or pictures if the product isn't legal to put on it..

Or. You could make a video giving examples (not literally inhale) but to show the effects of the inhalant, the intentional use and common negatives of the drug.

    Umm.. That's all I got

We don't know what your teacher considered "not creative."
