I have to write a History paper on the Holocaust. Is this accurate? Does it sound good?
The establishment of the Third Reich was accompanied by the genocide of approximately 11 million Europeans, with 6 million of the population being Jewish. Adolf Hitler, the chancellor of this Nazi state, strived to assemble a "racially pure" Aryan race in which Jews, the Roma, Poles, the ill and disabled, homosexuals, socialists, and several other minority groups were not a part of. After assuming the position of German president, Hitler set out to expand his reich eastward and eliminate the entire non-Aryan population, as they were deemed racially inferior.

Sounds good to me, got the information correct... but you wouldn't technically call Hitler a president as such, you would call him the Fuhrer. Von Hindenburg was the president of Germany, but when he died Hitler appointed himself as Fuhrer, which is the mixing of chancellor and president.
