  • Bleeding when I'm not on my period...(PCOS)?

I am 16 and I was diagnosed with PCOS a few months ago, and put on birth control pills to regulate my periods. Before I was put on the medicine, I had a "2 month long period". I basically just bled lightly for about 2 months, with no normal periods. Now that I have been put on the pill, my periods are perfectly regular and just like they were when I was younger- once every 28 days, moderate bleeding, lasting 5-7 days. However, I skipped my pill two days in a row, but finally took one last night. Today I woke up with light bleeding. Is this because I skipped my pills, even just for two days?

  • Would these outfits be appropriate for Orlando at this time of year?

I'm going to Orlando in a few weeks and I'm not really sure what to wear. I'll probably be going to Disney, so I'll be waking around most of the day. Basically every outfit I'm planning consists of a light weight button up or light long sleeves blouse, chino shorts, and boat shoes or sandals. I have a few lightweight dresses and flats for dinners, and a pair of jeans with a blouse and rainboots, in case it's cold and rainy. Do these outfits sound appropriate for the weather? I'm mostly concerned about the button down shirts, will I be too hot? I don't have many tank tops... Thanks!

  • How to get my iTunes music from my computer to phone and vice versa?

I had to get my laptop wiped out because I had a virus. I re-downloaded iTunes and backed up my iPhone 4 (which has iOS6 if that matters), but none of my songs transferred to iTunes on my laptop. I downloaded some songs onto iTunes on my laptop, but they won't sync to my phone like they used to when I hook up my phone. Please help!

  • Which Orlando theme park is best for two teenage girls?

My family and I will be going to Orlando, and this will be my sister and I's first time in the area (I'm 16 and my sister is 14). My parents don't want us to miss much school, so we're just flying down for a long weekend after midterms. We will just be going to parks one or two days, and the rest will be beach/shopping days, or just hanging out at the resort. Which parks will be the best for us? Are we too old for Magic Kingdom, or is it definitely worth going to? We're pretty much up for anything, just whatever will be the best for us! Thanks :)

  • Is my intro accurate? Does it sound good?

I have to write a History paper on the Holocaust. Is this accurate? Does it sound good?

The establishment of the Third Reich was accompanied by the genocide of approximately 11 million Europeans, with 6 million of the population being Jewish. Adolf Hitler, the chancellor of this Nazi state, strived to assemble a "racially pure" Aryan race in which Jews, the Roma, Poles, the ill and disabled, homosexuals, socialists, and several other minority groups were not a part of. After assuming the position of German president, Hitler set out to expand his reich eastward and eliminate the entire non-Aryan population, as they were deemed racially inferior.

  • How long should I bake these muffins for?

I made banana bread batter with crisco, flour, etc. The recipe calls for 1 hour to be baked in a loaf tin, but I am all out because of all the Thanksgiving baking I've been doing. I want to put the batter into muffin tins. What should I adjust the time to? I'm baking at 325 degrees, by the way. Thanks!

  • How to fix a busted down door?

My sister accidentally locked her bedroom door and couldn't get back in, so my dad had to break the door down. How do you fix this? It's still on its hinges but it just doesn't stay closed or locked because the wood near the doorknob is split...

  • I know I won't do well on my SATs... Should this be enough to get me into a decent college?

I'm a sophomore. Right now, I am currently only involved in Key Club and Model United Nations through school. Outside of school, I am involved in a youth and government program through my town, and I'm applying to a volunteer program through my YMCA. I am also trying to get involved in my schools newspaper, IF it isn't too late. I have a part time job at a grocery store. I take all honors classes and one AP class, but I'm not an excellent student. Should I be okay if junior and senior year if I:

-Play tennis and row for my school both years

-Am involved with Key Club both years, and am an officer my senior year.

    -I tutor elementary school kids

-I am involved with French Club, Model United Nations, National Honor Society, Students against Destructive Decisions, and another community service club, and am officer for at least 1.

    - 90+ average

    -Continue playing in Orchestra

    -An involved with student council

-Write for the newspaper and work on the yearbook

    -4+ AP courses

  • What is appropriate to wear to Catholic mass?

I'm going with my friend to mass tomorrow and I'm not sure what would be appropriate to wear. I used to go to mass when I was younger, and I would always wear dresses, but I haven't been to mass in a very long time so I don't know what to wear. I'm thinking about wearing a pretty casual dress and ballet flats. The dress is a pretty sturdy cotton, navy and white striped, short sleeves shift dress that hits right above my knees. Would this be appropriate?

  • What is the phrase for "back then" in French?

We learned it in class the other day but I can't quite remember it. We are practicing using passive voice, and we read a little excerpt about a man describing to his granddaughter what school was like when he was young, and he used at term that my teacher said equated to "back then" in English. It began with an "a". Anyone know what it is?

  • Will I likely be able to get a substantial amount of financial aid?

I still have a few years before college, but I'm starting to look into tuition and all of that fun stuff. I'm not really sure how financial aid works- is it only for families with lower incomes, or could a substantial amount of financial aid be granted to any middle class family? My dad makes about $200k a year, and my mom stays home, so we are a single income family. I currently make about 5k a year working at a grocery store, babysitting, and occasionally working for my dad, and a lot of it goes towards college. My salary should increase once I turn 16 and am legally able to work more. Will I likely be able to get a large portion of my tuition covered? Also, can you get financial aid for grad school? Sorry if these are really stupid questions, but I really just started looking into everything, so I'm pretty much clueless haha :) Thanks!
