Good ps2 game ideas for xmas?
I want to buy an awesome video game for my friend for christmas but i'm not sure how to go about it, as I don't know everything he owns and I don't know which to get him since i don't play alot of games. Are there any gamers put there who can recommend me some? He likes the Devil may cry series, kingdom hearts, resident evil.and likes smash-bros melee though that's for the game cube (he already has all three.) He's not really a fan of call of duty or halo-esk games.

I guess if he likes those action type games with lots of sword fighting, maybe Genji: Dawn ot Samurai or a game from the Onimusha series. They're both samurai games with action and demon slaying.
There's also an action RPG he might like called Devil Summoner. It's a bit hard to find but it's great. There's also a sequel, Devil Summoner 2. The games are about a guy who captures demons and uses them to fight and solve puzzles. It's by the guys who made the Persona series of games.
Speaking of which, Persona 3 or 4 are great PS2 games. They're RPGs with a mix of dungeon crawling and dating sim as you build relationships with your fellow students.
Then there's God of War which is an action game about killing various mythological Greek creatures and people.
Lastly there's the Dynasty Warriors series of games. They're action games where you control a famous Chinese officer and fight hundreds of enemies. There's also Samurai Warriors which is in ancient Japan.
