I'm getting singing lessons soon but i'm not sure on how to go about this. Amy lee is one of my favorite female singers and i love how powerful and ethereal her voice is and she inspired me to want to get them. Do i look for a opera singing teacher or another kind? can someone help me out? i want to sing like her ( with her style i mean, i think opera is pretty but i'm interested in alternative songs) but dont know what to ask. i cant ask a teacher unless i know what kind of teacher to get, Is her singing classical or contemporary? HALP

Well christmas is coming up and i'm a college student and i don't have alot in terms of money. i want to get my friend a season of a great anime like sao or attack on titan or something like that (even though i realize the dub won't come out till later -_-") and i notice alot of the animes cost 60 dollars or around that much, is there anywhere besides ebay i could find cheaper ones? also, any recommendations on a new on that came out? (example: not looking for full metal alchemist.)

I want to buy an awesome video game for my friend for christmas but i'm not sure how to go about it, as I don't know everything he owns and I don't know which to get him since i don't play alot of games. Are there any gamers put there who can recommend me some? He likes the Devil may cry series, kingdom hearts, resident evil.and likes smash-bros melee though that's for the game cube (he already has all three.) He's not really a fan of call of duty or halo-esk games.

I have a very close friend who I love dearly with a disease that has a 50% chance of shutting his kindeys down. I'm a universal blood type (O+) so i have a good chance if not best for his body to accept one of mine. I'm planning if god forbid, his kidneys fail to give him a transplant and one of my kidneys, and i've thought about it for a while and i'm ok to do it. Its a big decision and while there are alot of websites out there that explain what happens when you REVIEVE a kidney but i'm having trouble finding information on what happens on when you give one up while you're living. What's the process? What do you need to do to prepare for surgery? Can someone give me an idea and a few websites with the process? I will do it if it happens, if his body accepts my kidney i mean. I just want to know what i'm getting myself into first so i'm prepared.

I love being pale, and I am. I feel like soon i will become moreso due to me usuing sunscreen. (100+ on the face, 75+ on the body) But i'm very impatient and would like to hasten me becoming as pale as physically possible. Is there a specific vitamin i could take? Maybe a bodywash i could purchase at a drug store? Foods? I can't take oatmeal and lemon baths, as I have a shower and if my mom found out that I was using oatmeal as a bath thing instead of eating it she'd be understandabley pissed off. Maybe a pill I could ask my dermatologist about or something? Skin bleaching is out of the question. Also, anybody want to share their skin regime or some tips? I'd love to hear some new ideas :)

Well i just started, and i'm not hald bad and i've wanted to sing for a long time but i'm finally doing something about it. I can't afford lessons right now but i want to have good strngth and tone so when i start officially i'll have ...well..somthing xD are there any tips i can do? I would say my breathing is pretty ok and everything but you can always be better!!!!

When you start puberty your supposed to have little bumps under your nips right? They're supposed to be tender and then they grow? I'm 18 and i havent had those little lumps under them yet and they haven't been tender, and i hit puberty at 13. I'm worried there mght be somthing wrong with me medically but not sure if it's important enough to ask a doctor about. I'm afraid she'll say "they'll grow eventually" like everyone else, but i haven't actually GROWN at all there. Your supposed to have bumps under there i but don't and i'm worried somthing went wrong and i'll never have breasts.

Well...i'm in a big, itchy perdciment. I went for a walk through the woods and my friends and i found an overgrown trail that led to a cave. I was wearing shorts and no bug repellent, stayed out all night. I also sat on a few logs. But the next day in the late afternoon (during school i might add) a bunch on bumps (welts? Hives. Giant itchy red bumps) appeared on my upper thighs. Just the back and a few on the side i might add...then erm....they showed up on my tush...it itches like ******* crazy to sit down now, i'm dying after my second day of school. Because of the mixed circumstnaces and where it has...appeared, im reluctant to go to a doctor. But i don't know how to treat it. Caladryl wont stop the itching, and neither will this poison ivy medicated soap i have, even though its only been 2 nights. I cant make the itching stop. I've tried Ice and cold water. I'm dying here Dx please, what should i do? I really don't want to be showing my *** off to some doctor, and i'm not sure of which it could be. What should i do or use? And ways to get rid of the itching? If i dont get help soon i'll be shedding a new layer of skin.

I'm looking to find a great one to make my hair as awsome as possible after getting my haircut way to short. Preferably one that increases growth. Annnnnd not to costly. I looked at the hf37 thing, i do not want to take 10 horsepills a day. NO. Hahaha, can anyone recommend any supplements or vitamins they've taken and their results with them? Please and thankyou!

I'm wondering now because depression is having messed up hormones right? I have tiny tatas so i was wondering....would anti depressants fix that? Would some like to comment on the theory?

I have not been diagnosed for depression or bipolor disorder. But that's because i haven't asked a doctor recently. I've had obvious symptoms for years, and after i came close to being hit by a car and witnessing a car crash that killed one of the occupents (same crash. I was close enough to be hit with the debris that came off from the impact.) They've intensified greatly.

I've always been depressed, i don't move as much. I have every symptom i've noticed, minus weight loss or gain. I took many online tests and my results are severe depression. I know that doesnt mean i am, but i still have enough symptoms to raise alot of red flags to get help. I also took Bipolor tests and because my mood fluxuates alot it made sense too.

So i've talked to my therapist about it...about how i feel and how im better for a week and back to living in a sad hell of a existence that is my life for a few more. (Family therepist. Unrelated issue) and she just said "oh all teenagers are like that! You need to brighten up a little, your so moody!" And i tried to tell her that i've been like this for years.

I've mutilated myself, tried to kill myself, I've had horrible dreams when the insomnia doesnt keep me awake for well over 3 years. I'm a bloody mess of a being. and i havent gotten help because no one listens to how i feel about this. I need help. I know i need to get it before i get any worse. my little pit of saddness is getting deeper and deeper. I cant help how i feel. My parents wont listen to me, and neither will my family therapist. Who do i talk to about this????(besides the suicide hotline please)

Is there a certain way i can make my parents realize i might have somthing seriously wrong with me? I mean, seriously, after all thats happened they dont want to accept that i might? What do i do?

Gahhh....couldn't resist a sale....Hot topic was selling plugs, and i only have 3 sizes to go until i get to 0. So i see a 0, 2, and a 4 (im a 6 right now) and they're all plugs for 99 cents. I nearly **** myself, since normally their 18 dollars each. So i bought them and now i'm broke again. So i take a hot shower and try to put in the 4 but i cant get it in, and i grimly realize that i need the tapers to stretch them. Which didn't come with the plugs. Since i already have the plugs, is there any way possible to use them to stretch my ears, or anyway for me to get the 4 in? I won't mind a bit of discomfort for a while, i can deal with it, maybe even a little scarring, but i dont know how to effectively get my ear to stretch enough to accept the plug(also, what can i use in place of vasline?). Im a dumb ***, i know, but these the only tools i have for the next month or so. Like, how do i get my ears to stretch and open enough to get the plug in? Please help? Thanks!

Rightio, i have my tickets and ride, but this would be my first concert experience. I mean, i have been to local shows that my friends have played in, but this is my first REAL concert, and the line up is full of bands i know and love with all my overies. (Yes, i said overies.) I've consulted the website, but i'm still kind of confused about it. When the bands are not playing, are they meeting fans or sitting at kiosks and signing merch? Are they allowed to hang out with fans? Do they go to other bands at their stages and rock out like the other fans and blend in, or what? And what is everything like? Is the merch expensive? Where do the bands go when their done performing? What are the people like? What is appropriate wear for such things? I'd love it if someone who's already gone to one of the tours to tell me all about it, theres so much i wanna know!!!

Yo....so i'm 17 and i'm flat as a board. Not figuratlvly, i mean it in the literal sense, i have had absolutly no changes in my cheast since i was 13. I know fat 12 year old boys with larger breasts then i. Sometimes i have to check i'm a girl by lookin my my pants. Seriously! I have to wear a bra that makes it LOOK like i have a chest! And there are no lumps...like when they begin to grow, you have tiny bumps under your boobs, i don't have them anymore. Should i see a doctor? My doctor always says that i just need to wait, but i'm nearly 18 and everyone in my family has a history of having large cleavage. And i swore if nothing showed up at 20 i'd get a boobjob. But i'm scared there might be a medical reason too, i mean i've had my period, but i literally havent "matured" at all. My hips havn't really widened, i feel like a little kid. I feel like nature screwed me over. I'd post pics, but that get me kicked off because it look like childporn. I'm kind of scared, what should i do? I'd like to feel like a woman since i am one, and look like it too. Should i get estrogen pills or...or what? What if it's serious and it's messing with my female hormons? Because one day i want to have kids, but what if i have a serious problem and i can't have children because i might have something majorly wrong with me and i could have stopped it now and didnt? Gahhh i'm scared T_T ladies, doctors, help a girl out?

My eyesight is bad, so i wear glasses. I moved up to contacts, but i thought it be fun if i get some in crazy colors like purple and red. But i'm not sure if they make the specialty contacts with a prescription too. No use in getting them if i can't see. I really want them to look realitic and not like someon used paint either. Can anyone help me out? I'd greatly appreciate it :)

I can recieve pictures easily, but when i send them my phone says their sent and all but when i ask my friends if they got the pic they say they didnt. And sometimes a friend or more will txt me and i don't get the txts till later and all at the same time. It doesnt seem to have an error thing, and i have wifi and internet and stuff.
