What is a good free anti virus?

I use Comodo Free on my laptops and it works very good. MSE is okay but it isn't great, it is getting there but it isn't there yet. I recommend comodo, it comes with a firewall also. here is the link if you wanna check it out.

Also the other poster is correct about malwarebytes, you should get the free version and run a scan with it at least once a month, I use it on my PCs.

I would say Eset nod 32. It's a great anti virus program and it's free. Some time later of use it will ask for a password and username for that just look it up on google they most likely will have some. Also u can get any anti virus program for free online just make sure ur not downloading it from the wrong websites. Kaspersky is also a a great one

Avast is the best antivirus program having many features in the free version itself. It is having a on line security plug in to be effective in on line security. It has rescue disk which will enable booting if comuter is attaked with sophisticated trojans. Antivirus community also treat this as the best. I am using for more than 7 years and i do not have any problem. It stops you from visiting suspicious websites automatically, by popping that it blocked. if you want a free antivirus, then it is AVAAAAST, i recommend
