Why do i look so bad in photos but good in real life?
In the mirror my face is a bright olive tone but when I look at myself with my phone camera my face looks long like a cucumber and my smile is so awkward. Then I have a flab of skin behind my chin for some reason when I take a picture and I look like a long faced chubby person with red skin. The only way to make my skin look good is take a photo in the sun.

Because you aint photogenic, and maybe your phone camera's quality is not that good, and also maybe your position/angle during pictures taking is not good. You just need to keep on practise in front of your mirror and camera. Learn not to be stiff or unnatural in front of cameras. As for me, my selfie looks better with my head bent down a little bit so that my double chin isnt that obvious

It depends on the person. Some people are photogenic - I usually look better in some of my photos than real life (my opinion of course), while my SO looks better in real life than he ever will in photos.

camera phones are terrible quality and it is all ways better to take pix in natural light remember to look past the camera and SMILE
