Wizard101... What are your thoughts? (Players only)?
I played wizard101 from the very beginning when it was just dragonspire, I absolutely loved the game, I bought a year subscription at least 3 times. Then celestia came out. I thought, "what the heck?" It was nice, but everything after that just seemed to get worse, and less creative. I dislike what kingsisle is doing now. It feels like they just keep launching worlds, cards and levels every month. They have lost their touch, and we can't ever get back to how nice the game was before. What are your thoughts? Do you like all the new editions? Or do you hate them. Answer with as long as an answer as you like. I will read it all the way through. And thanks!

Funny, I actually started playing Wizard101 exactly the day after Celestia came out. In my opinion, personally, I love the new additions to the game, but that's only because I can adapt to things easy and am always open for updates or new material. I'd think that maybe the reason they come out with so many updates so quickly is because the game is expanding in population, so they are just adding many new items and other stuff to satisfy each person in their own way since almost everyone has their own likes and dislikes. Of course the main reason for adding new worlds is so that everyone can have fun playing and questing through them, but I also have another reason in mind: to spread out the players. There are low-level wizards and high-level ones, so some might be overcrowding some worlds and some in others. Having different realms really helps a lot, but with the 'certain level requirement' to enter a world, players can interact with their fellow peers that are of the same level. Plus I think the worlds serve as a sort of 'hang-out' place for some wizards. Some might like the desert (Krokotopia) and some maybe ancient civilizations (Azteca). Same thing goes for pets and armor, it's like in real-life with that having our own style and favorite pet (even if it is a magical pet that has many different helpful abilities). Almost everyone loves a challenge, which is a good reason to have the level system increase, so that wizards can give themselves a goal to reach while enjoying the difficult quests in new worlds. With that, of course we'll be needing stronger (and cooler) spells, seriously who doesn't love seeing strong spells deliver a giant blow to an enemy, especially if you hit a critical! The animations for the spells are totally epic, and are awesome to watch when in action. So yeah, some people will love the new additions, and some may not. But it's best to just enjoy it! How i started playing? Well while i was browsing the web, watching videos on YouTube, an ad kept popping up everywhere telling me to try Wizard101, after a while I got tired of it and just went for it. I took the test honestly, and got chosen as an ice wizard, then I started playing. I was really interested in the beginning, and kept going with quests. As I made my way to Unicorn Way to start my first quest I said to myself "I'm going to get addicted to this game" and I did xD But hey, i don't regret it. For a while now though I haven't played, simply because I moved and my parents can't seem to find the time to look for a good network to have in the house. I want to start playing again though. I hope you enjoyed my little 'tale' here x3

New answer coming through.
Well, I started playing Wizard101 last month, and by now I just started Celestia. It's pretty fun since they also added PvP, and other stuff, but I think their security system is waaaayyyy too far. I mean, I just got banned because I tried to buy a 50$ worth of crowns w/ my credit card, and now they think it's fraud? Why is that? I even put up a master password because I share the account with my brother. It's a good game and all, but their security system is waaaayyyy over protective.

I first played w101 when I was 10 or 11 I don't really remember. Each account I make keep getting lost due to internet failure. After the deadline to pay for the internet past, I never saw my first and recent accounts ever again. I eventually made a new one which is holding up pretty well and probably well never be lost. I think w101 is a great online MMO game. The story makes me want to jump off a cliff with excitement to how bad **** it is. My wizard is a level 31 storm and he's called Blaze StormBlade. I think the updates, new worlds, and new everything is just making the game better and better. I game like that should never rest. No offense, but you shouldn't hate the 2013 world known as Aquila. I see you despise worlds that continue the story of the game but Aquila doesn't. It's a great world where you duel powerful bosses and opponents for generally the fun of it.

Crowns player here.
Personally, I play for the challenge of the game. The story is all right, but the difficulty is what keeps me playing. I think the new expansions bring a lot more to the game and keep it fresh for those who have already completed everything.

I started back in 2010. It's getting harder now, but it's a good game. I've made fanfictions from it. ❤️
