A person is picked up by a helicopter ladder. At 15m, he drops his briefcase. If the briefcase hits the ground 3.5s later, what is the speed at which the helicopter is ascending?

The issue here is that the helicopter is ascending at a constant velocity. When the briefcase is being dropped, gravity is coming into effect. Therefore, the time that the briefcase takes isn't the time the helicopter takes! What do I do here?

I've noticed this bug for quite a while and was getting around it by using the Canadian site. However, since Yahoo! did a global rollout of this broken format, I haven't been able to do anything on the site.

I have tried using the latest versions of IE9, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome on a 32-bit Windows 7 OS. I have Adblock Edge on Mozilla and Chrome. I'm not willing to disable those as I value my online privacy.

If anybody knows a country that still has the old Y!A format or a fix for the new format, please let me know.

I just got a great Android tablet and I love it so far. However, I'm looking for some good RPGs on either the Google Play market or the Amazon app store. (If said game is on a different market, that's OK. Just tell me first.)

Keep in mind that I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 running Android 4.1 Ice Cream Sandwich.

In terms of the type of game I'm looking for, I prefer games that don't necessarily make you bend over backwards to complete a task. However, I don't like when games just hand you the answer either. I play way too much Minecraft when I'm sitting in front of a PC, so a sandbox/open-world aspect would be nice as well. The last thing I look for is in-app purchases: is the developer going to screw me over in-game if I don't buy this item with real-world money? I don't like games that have a strong backbone in IAPs, but it's OK if they exist as an option.

Ok, so I'm trying to place a block of sugar cane on sand or dirt. The animation shows, but the sugar cane doesn't place for some reason. There IS a block next to it, but I don't think that's a factor. What am I doing wrong: so confused!
