why is my puppy acting strange?
ever since i brought home my boyfriend yesterday morning my dog wont come near me and doesnt greet me as usual he will barley eat or drink and is lying around he hasnt ate or drank anything bad. im devasted im so close with my dog and it really breaks my heart to think he doesnt love me

It could be jealousy and that the dog feels left out, maybe love him or her more than usual and try treating them to some wet food with dry, or try hand feeding just to get him or her to eat. you could also try taking him or her out on a long walk, and when you get home see if the pup goes for food or water, if not i would definatly consult with a vet

aeiou is the only person to have gioven you the right answer. Ignore the two idiots who gave them TD's. Its probably a coincidence about your boyfriend; the symptoms suggest the pup needs a vet.

He loves you too much and is clearly jealous of the boyfriend. Perhaps he feels he has lost his position in the "pack". You need to give him a lot of reassurance and get your bf to do the same.
