How do I get an associates in a vet tech if I only have 1 semester left?
I'm currently going to college and I have 1 semester left before I get my associates degree in liberal arts and sciences. From what I have seen to become a vet tech I need an associates in science applied vetrinary technology. If I continued on to a vet tech school and took 2 more years of college, would I have an associates in LAS and a bachelor degree in science applied vet technology, how does this work? I'm beyond confused!

If you finish your current program and start picking up the requisite classes in the vet tech program next semester you might finish both associates in three years total. Otherwise you will get credit for the overlap between the two and might shave a semester off the vet tech bachelors if they actually offer that as a major. If you only do the vet tech work for the associates you do not get a bachelors just because you have been going to school there for 4 years. You need to seek advisement from the academic department.

No you would have an associates degree in both. The only way to get a bachelors degree in veterinary technology would be to finish an associates degree in veterinary technology and then complete 2 more years specifically in veterinary technology.
