Our first dog (Lucky) we picked out at a local shelter he was a golden retriever chow chow mix, there were a lot of things I loved about that dog. So to start with when us kids would go anywhere Lucky was there with us and when he ran though the field he would leap and bound like a deer it was fun to watch, and another time it was the morning and I was the first one awake it was 7:00 am and Lucky ran up to our side door (it was glass so I could see him) and barked and that was unusual because he only barked at night to keep the coyotes away and when someone came to our house so I went outside and he started walking and looked back to make sure I was following and he went around to the front of the house and there was a circle literally a circle of dogs there had to have been at least 15 dogs and Lucky trotted over and sat in the middle of them and I'm sure I was standing there with my jaw on the ground lol and all the dogs except the ones I knew left probably cause a kid had crashed..

Source(s): Their meeting lol and so we had lots of adventures but this one was my favorite. :)

I loved feeling the lump down by my feet at the end of the bed and the way she her hair felt soft against my face when I would cry into her fur. Man, now I really miss her.
