  • What size shirt should I order from Boys and Girls Club for basketball?

It's for an 8th grade girl who is thin and slightly above average in height.. They have Youth sizes XS-L and Adult sized S-XL. She thought she wears a Youth sized Medium. She's taller than me and a bit thinner than me and I wear Adult sized Medium with all shirts. Any one know how their sizing works?

  • How would you refer to the parents in this Parenting Plan?

This is an Oregon state court. The form says...

"The residential parent is the parent with whom the children live most of the time and who also has legal custody of them."

What if the parent who has the children most of the time doesn't have legal custody of them? The parent the children are not living with is actually the one with sole custody.

  • Do you think this is something obvious or just a coincidence?

My daughter was trying to find something she had been looking at earlier online. Her dad had given her his old phone since he got his new one. He still had his account logged in for Google because when I went to history it showed all of her searches as well as his. He'd obviously been looking at pics of women usually naked and sometimes with gifs. In between a string of these x rated searches and sites is a Google search for "hotels in Tacoma, WA". Is this obvious or do you think there is a perfectly good explanation? Maybe I shouldn't even be worrying about it?

  • In Oregon where would you file for child custody if there already is an existing order?

For example...Divorce/Custody judgement/dissolution in county 1. Change of Custody filed in county 2. Change in custody needing to be changed again but should it be filed in county 1 or 2? Is it that if you want to file for Custody you can do it within any county with the state that you live and if you do a Modification of Custody then you have to file where the last judgement was?

  • What do you think might be the situation with this bullying incident in Kindergarten?

My daughter is in Kindergarten and on Thursday after school she tells me that a boy in her class was in the recess line behind her. She said he gave her an "indian burn" on her arm if she doesn't bring him candy on Monday and he will also do it if she tells anyone about it. I told her I would take care of it and thanked her for telling me. She asked me if I could talk to her teacher about it. She asked off and on the rest of the day if I had talked to her teacher yet.I told her dad about it over the phone and he asked if she had any bruising. I hadn't thought to look for that. I looked and sure enough she had two round blue bruises on the inside of her arm.

I contacted the teacher who contacted the principal. Her teacher said she would contact me before within the next few days (but before Monday) about what the plan is.

There was no school on Friday. Now it's Sunday. I asked my daughter for a little bit of clarification and now she is saying the boy told her he would be her best friend if she brought him candy on Monday and she is afraid he will do that to her arm again if she doesn't.

I don't understand what's going on. I really don't know what to think. I do know bruises were left on her arm.

It's almost 9 pm and I haven't heard from anyone at the school. I already planned on going in with my daughter Monday morning, but was expecting to hear from her teacher about what the plan is before I go. Night's not over yet, maybe she will still contact me.

  • Does this sound like regular procedure to you?

I was in an auto accident. I had taken a colazapam the day before. I dont remember laying there on a stretcher talking to people. I do remember being told by the EMT as I was going into the ambulance that they have to cut off my pants. I don't remember the ride to the hospital. I do remember being seen at the hospital and going home. The pants I was wearing were real thin baggy cotton beach pants with no underwear. (My plan was to go through a drive thru for food when I left the house). Why take my pants and not my shirt. Before they put me in the ambulance I'm told I was on the ground on a stretcher for at least a half hour. Why would removing my pants be so important after that amount of time had already passed.

  • What do I file to the court to ask the judge for a condition be put on my son s bank account?

My son turns 18 this month and close to graduating high school except now he says he ll finish online and get a job at a mill. When he turns 18 he can get the money from an insurance settlement out of his account. I need a condition put on the account from a judge that says he can t have the money until he finishes high school. My son goes to alternative school and is so close to graduating. I know it s probate court but what do I file? A petition, motion, etc.? Hiring a lawyer is not an option for me.

  • Why can't I find her on his friend list?

I look at his friends on FB and she isn't there. If I go to her profile page it says he is a mutual friend of hers. How does that work?

  • How would you handle your runaway teenager wanting to stop by for Christmas?

It's been mentioned he shouldn't get his presents. I believe in unconditional giving. If I got it for him then I got it for him. Stocking? I can't bear to have it hang empty.

He ran away because he didn't want to follow my rules. He was grounded for getting suspended from school.. While grounded he lied to a family member who took him into town where he could hang out with his friends. When I caught him he said he was leaving.. That was the 19th of this month. I reported him to the sheriff as a runaway. It's not a crime in our state so it won't stay on his record.

Now he wants to stop by for Christmas. How does that work when he is a runaway? Is it fair for him to take his presents and go? Should I just be happy he shows up and we are together as a family for Christmas even if it's for just a little bit? Maybe he won't leave again. Maybe he will stay. I don't know. What do you think?

  • Can I get my son's blocked bank out to postpone it to him?

My son got about $5000 from a insurance settlement because of an auto wreck we were involved in. The money is in a blocked account until he turns 18. Can I somehow postpone his access to that account after he turns 18? My reason is because he has become very irresponsible. He's doing drugs and skipping school. I grounded him for getting suspended from school and he ran away from home. He turns 18 in March of 2015. We live in Oregon.

  • Why won't my black lab come when I call him?

I know he's happy to be outside and the world is thrilling. He's about 10 months old. He comes whenever my boyfriend calls him. He follows me everywhere in the house. Sits outside and against whatever door in the house I'm behind and sulks the entire time I'm gone. Then when we get outside he goes potty and takes off. It must be a game to him because I'll go around a building (three large buildings on property but no fence) to try and cut him off and as soon as he sees me he goes faster. He doesn't do this to anyone else. I've tried treats but they not working anymore. I have to go get my boyfriend to call him back. My neighbor next door has a large fenced yard I bet she wouldn't mind I used. Maybe I can work on getting him to come safely over there while getting him the play time and exercise he needs. I do always make sure that when I do eventually get him back I don't scold him. I've had poodles, a pit bull, and was always raised with German Shepherds. This is my first Labrador retriever and wow is it different. Any help with this problem and corrections on how I've messed up trying to fix it would be appreciated.

  • How can I make sure my rabbit stays warm tonight?

My rabbit is in a wooden hutch I had made and it sits on our back deck against the house. In a separate compartment the rabbit can't access I have a light that's only a 60 watt bulb. I was hoping the heat from the light bulb would offer some warmth by heating some of the area that would get through to the rabbit. Tonight it's supposed to get down to 10 degrees. Will my rabbit stay warm enough? I put a heavy blanket over the hutch too.

  • Can you help me find this short animated film?

It was years ago I think I seen it on Atom Films online. I remember an old man sitting in a cabin in the woods. He looks at a picture that must be his deceased wife. Something is trying to get in the cabin like moths maybe? I think there was something to do with the oven but I'm not sure about that. I remember the film ended with the thing that was trying to get in all along was actually his wife because it was his time to die and she had come for him. It was a very moving film. Does anyone know what the film was called and where I can find it again?

  • What is your worst or scariest experience with an insect?

Mine is when I went to the kitchen for a midnight snack. I reached into the cupboard and grabbed the last of two pop tarts from an already open package. I started eating it as I walked to the bathroom. Once in the bathroom I stood in front of the mirror and flipped the light switch on. In the mirror I saw tons of sugar ants pouring out of my mouth and running over my hand. It was so gross.
