Is it normal for my 2000 mustang gt v8 engine to idle a tiny bit when stopped?

    Well if it stalled out at a stop sign or light you'd be having issues. Its supposed to idle when your stopped. But more details would be nice on what you mean though.

    Engine idle speed in Drive should be about 700 rpms.
