The students will be selling chocolate bars for $4 each. Cost volume profit question below?

Franklin Elementary School needs to raise money for new playground equipment. The students will be selling chocolate bars for $4 each.

The chocolate bars will be purchased for $1.3 each. The school budgets $112 for flyers to be distributed to the houses in the school neighborhood.

How much will they make if they achieve their target of selling 1 000 chocolate bars?. Round your final answer properly to two decimal places.

    $4 - $1.3= $2.6 profit per candy bar

    1000 chocolate bars will net $2600

    minus the $112 for flyers

    $2488 total profit

    [not sure if some of the questions involve a type of calculus that figures out 'diminishing returns' so you end up losing money at some point]

    why is it ok for the chocolate bar companys..to use our minor children ..for their own profits..also the schools..use our children..to sell those products..when our taxes..should take care of what a schools need..ever hear of child labor Laws
