Is the phrase 'fill out a suit' a common expression or am I just making that up?

I thought I had heard the expression 'fill out a suit' before, or maybe something similar to that. It basically means that one looks good in a suit, if I remember correctly. Am I right or am I just having a brain fart?

Yes, I've heard that phrase normally used of a muscular guy like say a bouncer or a boxer when he's suited up.

I've heard "she fills out her dress nicely" - a little impolite as it's saying she has a good body.

I think it means more like "well-built" and maybe it's used more often for a woman filling out her dress.
