is the show "Vikings" on the History Channel historically accurate?

From a historical view? No.

However, if you were curious how raids were accomplished, how people survived in those days, how boats were made, how clans fought internal battles, and how a guy moved up to take lead over a clan.....it does a decent job. It's better in that relationship, than telling a true-to-life event.
