I m applying to Indiana University Bloomington and probably a couple other colleges after 2 years of community college. For my first semester of college, I had a 2.12 GPA (I took 2 college credit classes my senior year of HS and got A s in both, so I had a 2.63 cumulative GPA at this point) and had a 2.60 cumulative GPA after 2 semesters. My fall 15 semester was much better (3.28), bringing my GPA up to 2.80. Plus I ve done a decent amount of extra curricular activities the past 2 years

and would it make a difference if i'm planning on living in the dorms?

i'm thinking about getting a cat, but because of college, i'm going to be away from home most of the day (8 am- almost 9 pm some nights) are there any breeds of cats that are okay with being alone for that long?

and do they have a good selection?

I recently finished my first semester at community college. My gpa for the semester is 2.12 with a 2.63 cumulative gpa with dual credit classes (for HS and my CC) my senior year. I have a total of 22 credit hours. (16 in CC and 6 in HS) I want to transfer after spring (so my first year at a 4 year school would be fall 15) to the following schools:

University of Minnesota, Twin Cities

Indiana University, Bloomington

University of Illinois, Champaign

Saint Olaf College

Do I have a realistic shot at any of them? (I live in New York)

I'm currently a high school senior and I'm thinking about possibly minoring in German in college, however my current school only offers Spanish, French, and Italian as languages. Would I have needed the high school years of German, or do they start at basics?

I plug my headphones on my laptop and it plays as if they weren't plugged in. It was working last night and I didn't drop it or anything, it just randomly happened today
