Tumblr issue! How to fix a sidebar image problem?
Okay so I wanted to change my tumblr theme on my fandom blog. Most themes (much like this one) allows you to put a gif in the sidebar which is what I wanted to do. I clicked on the sidebar button and it opened my folder of where I leave my gifs. After I chose one, tumblr looked like it was uploading but then nothing happened. It was as if I never clicked on the sidebar button yet. I checked my blog thinking that it must have uploaded but my blog has no sidebar image.
How do I fix this? I thought it was that specific theme, but when I restored my older theme and tried to add a different gif there I had the same problem. I also tried to edit my HTML myself and add the URL of the gifs I wanted to use but still had nothing.Could it be a problem with my computer? I tried to search for my problem but every question led to something I didn't want.

it is probably because the file of the gif is too large. Ive taken pics that were taken with my DSLR and were about 5-10 mb a file. I tried uploading it onto my sidebar but never seemed to work. have you tried uploading a smaller size file? if even a small file size doesn't work, then there is something wrong ;/ hope this helps :)
