Modern cars similar to classic muscle cars?
I want a classic muscle car but they are unreliable nd r hard 2 maintain
What I want to know is cars that are similar to the past in modern time such as 1990 instead of 1970 and still keeping that muscle car look and not that shitty modern muscle car look. Prefferable look alike camaro 1970

the only car company that makes things close to classic muscle cars is Dodge.
in fact you can see their more classic design in most of their cars.
they offer cars that are large (the avenger is a midsize car for compact prices, it even has a 4 speed automatic gearbox, the last car to have one (the chrysler 200 is the same mechanically as the avenger)
the charger is similar. it's a large car with an available huge hemi V8.
the challenger is the most muscle car like of them all. it even has retro styling, a hemi V8 and a noise that you can only get from that type of engine. it also has the downsides of a muscle car. it's the heaviest and least economic on fuel of its competing range (mustang and camaro).
im not really good with older cars but if you want something new to embody the spirit of those older classic muscle cars, dodge is the way to go.

I think two modern cars that attempt to capture the muscle car feeling are mustangs and camaros. Obviously I am only talking about the V-8 versions. The obvious difference is that the whole point about the muscle car era was that with a few bucks and some creativity you could improve on a car's performance. That capacity to improve performance is no longer there because 1. they already perform well and 2. smog laws don't let you get away with much. I used to drive a big block Chevelle and now drive a mustang gt. Of course it's not the same, but it gives you a similar sense of torque, acceleration. In defense of newer cars, they handle better, stop better, and have more comfort with AC and better stereos, and are safer. It's a good compromise.

There is nothing "modern" comparable to a classic muscle car.
