Nelson Mandela was a great man who fought his entire life for civil rights, similar to Martin Luther King.  He spent a quarter of his life in a horrible prison because of it.  Because of his efforts, many people are free today.  Those against civil rights would naturally think less of him.  Some people are highly political and will always be bias.  The world is a sadder place because of his passing.  The world needs great leaders.  He was one of the best.
