Will Survivor ever take place in a different environment?
Every season of Survivor, at least the U.S. version, takes place on some tropical island, with the exception of the Australian Outback. Will there ever be a season set somewhere else, like a snowy mountain or anywhere not tropical? I think Survivor: Alps would be pretty cool.

They also had one in Africa and china.
No they would not have it where it's cold because they will need equipment so they do not freeze to death. Part of survivor, is having they survivor with just a few stuff.
They said Africa was really hard, due to the wild animals, they could not real move freely. So they would not pick a place where they could not move freely.
China, I thought was in mountain type area, but hot
It seem to work best on a tropical island

I kind of doubt it. The Cold might be too much and could freeze people to death, and people also like to see the players with less clothing and in the cold you would see them all bunched up in coats.
They also couldn't do as many of the Challenges they do in the island if it was taken place in the cold.
It just wouldn't be a safe place in the cold.

I too have wanted a "cold" season ... Antarctica would be the ultimate Survivor show. But, I doubt it could be done very safely. Plus, I'm sure half naked people help the ratings.

but it would be nice to see them do one from the Aleutian lsland chain
