How to bake raw frozen breaded drumsticks from Freezer to Oven?
My friend just had a baby and I want to make her a freezer meal of these chicken legs I do, just raw drumsticks with panko, and a bit of flour spices and powdered cheese. No egg.
How should I instruct her to cook them? I always bake them thawed and then breaded. Please if you have experience in this or have done it before thats the kind of info I need! :)
Question 1: If I ask her to take them out and thaw them, will the legs leak and melt off the breading or make the breading soggy?
Question 2: If so, What directions should I give her from frozen straight to oven? Would that melt off the breading as well?
Queation 3: Is the only way to do without melting off the breading to just give them to her raw?
Thanks in advance!

Fist-Sized Favorite
A chicken has only two legs and everybody wants one. Drumsticks are so easy to eat, so juicy and delicious, they are the first pieces snatched up and haggled over. We've solved that problem for you by selling a whole bag of individually frozen drumsticks. Now everyone can have their favorite fist-sized treat and you can please every kid and kid-at-heart at your table.
Drumsticks are delicious breaded and unbreaded, fried or baked. If you go breaded, feel free to be adventurous. Try it with a parmesan crust, or honey, or teriyaki, or buttermilk or mustard. You get the idea. To get your inspirational juices flowing, check out our recipe database.
Ideal for:
Lunches
Dinners
Picnic/Tailgating Treats
Cooking Instructions:
Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 375° F. Arrange frozen chicken drumsticks in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until no pink remains or until internal temperature is 185° F,
Grilling: Preheat grill to medium-high. Place chicken on the grill in a single layer. Close grill cover and grill 6 to 8 minutes. Turn chicken. Cover and grill 6 to 8 minutes or until done (internal temperature of 185° F).
Due to variations in equipment, heating times and/or temperature may require adjustment.

You need to add more fruit and veggies to your diet. Go for the fruits and veggies that are in season. They're often cheaper that way. These foods are in season: Broccoli watermelon oranges spinach strawberries When these foods are too expensive you can get some of them frozen. It's cheaper this way. Your breakfast sounds good. Just make sure you're eating fresh strawberries, natural oatmeal with low sugar, and don't use too much oil when cooking your eggs. You can even replace those eggs with nuts sometimes... almonds are good but peanuts or a cheaper alternative. Plus try adding fish to your lunch. A medium sized piece of fish has way more protein than a hotdog and about the same amount of calories. Ground turkey is good for you and cheap too. Just use it for everything you use meat for, burgers, spaghetti (whole wheat pasta and bread), ect. I always read food labels to know what's in the food I'm eating. That helps me find food that will benefit me the most. I hope all of this helps you.=)

Wouldn't you prepare them raw, with the breading/seasonings and then freeze them.
Instruct her to thaw them out in the fridge overnight and then the next day when she is ready to cook them, put them on a grate set inside a rimmed cookie sheet. Or place them on a broiler pan and roast them in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes to an hour.

For 3 it depends how soon she plans to eat them. For Cooking from frozen, thawing won't make the crumbs fall off, they will go slightly soggy but cooking them will undo that so either give them raw or tell her to thaw them

Why not prepare and cook them so she only has to reheat. that way no danger of deterioration or under cooking
