I hooked up with this girl...?
I'm a high school freshmen guy... I met this freshmen girl a few weeks ago and we are both attracted to each other and at this dance about a week ago we hooked up (made out). We both enjoyed it and had a nice night. However, it is weird now. There's awkwardness flowing from both of us and that is obviously not what we want. What can I do to make it less awkward? Thanks to those who answer :)

The reason we usually follow a format in relationships that leads to hooking up at around Step 5 or so, is because when you move hooking up to Step 1, it DOES get awkward.
Your only choice is to go back to what should have been Step 1 and get to know her by talking with her, spending some NON-hooking-up time with her, and let it advance from there.

Talk, maybe take her out somewhere that she feels comfortable.
Ask her some questions so you can get to know her better. Find things you have in common and talk about those, then hopefully it will relieve the tension and things will flow.
