Can sisters be best friends/ BFF's ?

Ok I'm 18 and my older sister is 19. We've gotten very close this summer and she's extremely nice to everyone. She's at college in another state I miss her but the only ways we keep in touch is through facebook and texting and calling. We call eachother BFF's and a lot of people mistake us as best friends. Can sisters be BFF's or is it lame?

Why would it be lame to call your sister your best friend? It's the connection the two of you have together that matters and not so much how you call it. Some people also call their lover their best friend so I see no reason why your sister couldn't be yours. Enjoy calling her this way and treasure the connection. That way both of you get the most of out it.

    Hope this helps.

NO way it is not LAME. That is great that you have a wonderful relationship. You should be very happy and lucky...alot of sisters in this country dont have what you have...good luck

I think so! I am younger than you, but my sister is 5 years older than me and we are probably best friends. She is as close, maybe even closer, with my older brother, who is 1 year older than her. It's your choice, ultimately.
