I'm a guy, have been working out frequently since thanksgiving but took breaks here and there, I'm 17 so my metabolism is still pretty high and I have a body type of an average body but with a little more muscle (175 lbs and 5 "9)han the average but not ripped or fat, but what workouts that require bodyweight exercises only so I can get more toned and gain muscle definition?(I can't buy weights because of my budget is too low)

Hi Bailey, for abs the sit ups work great for arms and chest push ups. you can do arm curls with a gallon jug of water. good way to spend your time until something breaks. you have a good attitude and I am pleased to see that. from grandpa.

I normally do body weight exercises, until it comes to my legs (weighted squats). A good exercise is sprinting (although it doesnt build muscle). You can add in Bulgarian squats (one legged squats). Muscle that looks soft is hidden by a layer of fat. Lowering fat brings out your muscles, and sprinting has a fat burning effect which lasts 36 hours. Growth Hormone is responsible for most of the fat burning. I might also encourage you to eat healthy. I found hormones (growth hormone/testosterone) are what change your physique from the inside out. As for the body weight exercises, you'd only need a pull up bar, to work your back and biceps. The Front tuck lever is an Olympic body weight exercise for your whole back. Front planche is another static body weight exercise which compliments the front tuck lever. Best of luck!
