Is Jordan Matthews the best WR prospect for the 2014 nfl draft?

I think this dude is the most well rounded receiver he has great size good hands and is a great route runner. He just isn't projected a top 20 pick because he "lacks elite buildup speed" which I think he is pretty good at. He isn't the fastest receiver but neither was Larry Fitzgerald or anquan boldin. Unlike Sammy Watkins or marqise lee I think in the long term Matthews would be less injury prone. And well Mike Evans well I think he will have trouble getting separation since he isn't good route runner. Do you agree? Also Matthews managed to have good numbers even with inconsistent QB play this year. What's your opinion on him? Do you agree with me? I would love for my Jets to draft him

No... There are several that are better than Matthews.. Sammy Watkins of Clemson and Marquise Lee of Southern Cal are a couple....

No. Mike Evans is, followed by either Sammy Watkins or Marqise Lee. Matthews is in the second-tier level of receivers, along with Penn State's Allen Robinson.

Next year's draft class -- on paper, anyway -- is very deep when it comes to WRs, so there's no shame in not being the best WR prospect.

I personally feel that Marqise Lee is better than Mike Evans, but either way, Paddy nailed it, those 3 are all better than Matthews. He's good, but there's some great talent out there in 2014.

Actually, it depends on his work ethic during every offseason. If Jordan Matthews works hard and performs very well in practice every day, he will greatly improve his chances of becoming an elite NFL wide receiver in the future, just like Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin.

The best reciever is marqise lee but ill say matthews has been one of my fav wr in the past 2 yrs. He is good and will be a sleeper but not the best

Yeah, he even played for a shitty team. Remember when he puked against Ole Miss? Hard working great WR. Lee is an overrated piece of ****. Evans is 2nd to Matthews though.
