My 8 month old cat has had diarrhea for the past 2 days?
I haven't taken him to get shots yet (I know, I know bad pet owner) and I haven't changed anything about his diet. He has light brown diarrhea and only has it about once a day so far as I can tell I haven't checked his box to see if he has had any other bowel movements since he's been leaving the diarrhea on the carpet. My boyfriend said he had a lick of milk from his cereal bowl the other day, but I don't think it was enough to cause diarrhea. His gums are pink but not fully. I can't take him to the vet til this weekend. I'm really worried and I feel awful.

Diarrhea, by itself, may be a result of something he ate or possible an allergy to certain food. It's more of a worry if there are *any* other symptoms, though they could always develop later.
Make sure he is continuing to drink water, watch out for anything else out of the ordinary & take him to vet ASAP if any other symptoms occur or he stops drinking. It has then become an emergency.
Withholding food for 12 to 24 hours can help sort out a simple tummy upset. Gives the digestive system a chance to rest & I found it worked well for one of my cats.
As always the vet is your best option.

Try getting some dry cat food if you're using the canned stuff, preferably something with meat as the first ingredient, but at least somewhere in the first few.
You could also try a diet with more fiber for him, he may like grass to chew on- my cats love it- or chopped up, cat safe leaves.
If it doesn't stop, take him to the vet, and while you're there get him neutered if he's not yet, and vaccinated. Those are good ideas anyways, so you may as we'll ask about the diarrhea too.
It may go away on its own, but often it's just a lack of fiber. Still vets are pro's at this.
