In a fatal traffic accident, is the blood supposed to be cleaned from the road?

There was an 'accident' on the road by my work, where a pedestrian was hit and killed. I assumed it would have been all cleaned up. When driving to the store down the road it happened, where the accident was, there was still blood on the road, also mixed into a bit of snow.

Shouldn't that be cleaned up? It kinda irritates me.

Holy hell, what a heartbreak for you that the blood, of a living breathing human being who was killed, bothers you.

Someone died and all you care about is the accident scene wasnt cleaned up to your satisifaction.

Maybe the cops need to finish their investigation.

My ex husband works in a steel factory, about 18 years ago a guy who works there died when the crane he was using collapsed. They got the guy out, but had to leave the collapsed crane where it was during the investigation. That was almost a year I think and I had to drive passed there to and from work twice a week. It broke my heart to see it, but knew a) it had to be there b) I had to drive passed it and c) I tried not to look.

Think of the family who lost that person who died instead of yourself.
