Zion National Park in February?

I'm looking to take a trip to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park this coming February. I want to get the full experience at Zion, hiking through the narrows and the subway particularly. Obviously I would need substantial clothing and water-proof protection, but my main question is: are these accessible in February? I know some areas are closed during that time of year.

The narrows is open to hikers even in the winter months, but I can't emphizes the substantial clothing enough. You will be hiking through cold water and will most likely find yourself swimming in fridged cold waters with temps below freezing. Think full wet suit or full dry suit.

There is a lot of good information on the National Park Website.

Given the fact that self-rescue from hypothermia is damned near impossible I think that it would be extremely foolish for you to do to even try to do those hikes

It depends on whether there is snow, and that time of year it's still iffy.
