1 AnswerMovies7 years agoZion National Park in February?
I'm looking to take a trip to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park this coming February. I want to get the full experience at Zion, hiking through the narrows and the subway particularly. Obviously I would need substantial clothing and water-proof protection, but my main question is: are these accessible in February? I know some areas are closed during that time of year.

my 2008 macbook pro hasn't been able to turn on in the last month or so. the battery is fully charged (the lights light up when i press the test button), and i've even tried turning it on plugged in. you can hear the computer starting to run, but then it quiets down and nothing happens. also, the light on the front of the macbook that pulses gets stuck about halfway lit. any suggestions or solutions?
thanks
p.s. i've tried using it with the battery out and the power cord plugged in as well. i've pretty much covered all my bases.

1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks9 years agoINSTAGRAM help--for those of you with lots of followers?
My name is Garret, and I'm a photographer out of northern New Jersey.
I have a photography project that I've been working on for a while now. It's actually less of a photography project and more of a social media community activity. However, in order for this to really take off, I need some kind of outreach (and with only 200 followers on Instagram, I have hardly any reach.) This is where you come in.
I'd like to partner with someone who has a lot of followers so that this project gains exposure. I also already have a website, Twitter account, Facebook page, and Flickr account set up for this, but again, they're almost useless without any followers.
I'd give whoever helps me recognition on the website, Twitter, Instagram, whatever. I would also (if the project ever gets big enough to start capitalizing on it) gladly share a portion of the income with this person. I know a lot of you may think I'm being foolish or naive, but I'm very serious about this project. I have been working on it for months now and I don't plan on stopping until it does become widely known.
So if you enjoy networking and photography, and you are open to opportunities to be a founder of a next-big-thing kind of project, please let me know! Leave your Instagram name here so I can take a look at your outreach, and email me at garte13@mac.com for more information. I'll know you're serious about it if you contact me.
Thanks for your time everyone!

2 AnswersInvesting9 years agoVacation to Sedona, Arizona?
I'm planning a vacation to Sedona, Arizona for this coming March. I was wondering if anyone has been there before and could fill me in on a few things. I'm going primarily to shoot photographs, as I'm an amateur photographer looking to expand my portfolio. My main concern is spending as much time as I can in the canyons and wilderness out there. I have a fairly tight budget, so luxury hotels and things of that nature are out of the question. I'll give myself $2,500 to work with. What can you come up with?

1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoSony Alpha A100 question?
I have a Sony Alpha A100 DSLR camera and I am trying to take a picture of a drop of water as it hits the ground. I know I need a very high shutter speed and an open aperture setting. I set the shutter speed to 1/400 and the F-stop to 4 (which is the lowest setting available), but the image keeps turning out black (yes, I removed the lens cap). Can someone please give me an idea as to how I can brighten the image while still using the shutter speed I selected?
