How to introduce a 1.5 year old male cat (new) to a residing 3 year old male cat?

Firstly, I know this is a bad idea.

My mother's friend owned two cats, and they live next door to these horrendous people who hated the cats. Long story short, the neighbours placed some kind of "anti-freeze" (?) by their house, and surely enough, one of the cats drank it, was poisoned, and died. Nobody else is willing to take the remaining cat, and I would hate myself if I didn't at least try and work it out, otherwise I don't know what might happen to him.

So basically, I have a 3 year old outdoor male cat, and a 2 year old indoor female cat (she loves all the cats she has met, so she wouldn't be much of a problem. We had her before the 3 year old). How can I possibly make this work out with the males, without causing King (my cat) to move out?

introduce them to one another slowly. Keep them in separate rooms of the house. When they eat, put their bowls on opposite sides of the door between their rooms. Swap their blankets every now and Then. Basically expose Them to the other's scent in an area where they are comfortable. Soon they will be used to one another. Good luck. Ps try looking on websites that specialise in the field if you need more help.

    Exactly what Erik said!

It works for Dogs as well. I looked into how to introduce a cat to a dog as my roommates have 2 dogs. Same method.
