Window tint: How dark?
I'm going to get my windows tinted because I park my car outside and I don't want the leather to get damaged. However, I don't want to not be able to see out of the rear window at night. So how dark should I get them tinted? My last car actually came with window tint and it was the perfect darkness but I didn't know what it was. Thanks!

The most common is a 30% or 15% depending on where you reside. The state tint laws are here at http://www.tintlaws.com/

the window tint shop will be able to show you samples and advise you the ""legal tint"" in your state of residence .... Just remember this === never clean that plastic window tint film with anything that contains alcohol or says Windex always use a thin soap and water solution == look around while driving and see those cars that have purple colored tinted windows and know that those were cleaned with Windex type cleaners ----- to maintain the smoke or gray tint use soap&H20 only.

They say you should be able to read the date on a quarter through it on the window, this is legal in most states
