Two computer problems.?
Okay, so I have not been able to access my laptop for two years now because of a password problem. For some reason, it wouldn't accept my password; type it in and after a few seconds it tells me the password is incorrect. I've gotten this screen when I first log on telling me my computer is password locked and I need to input my password. I do and it works fine but, when I try to log in to access the computer it's self it tells me it's incorrect. I've tried everything from safe mode, to repairing it to factory direct mode and nothing is working. Is there anyway to surpass it?
My second problem is my desktop, one of the cables is messed up and the color on the monitor as had a blue tint and now a puke greenish color too. I now I need to get a new one but is there anything I can do for now to get the color back to normal?

Problem #1:
There are tools for deleting a Windows password. Google the following term: delete a Windows password.
Among the results, you can choose the one that pertains to your version of Windows.
Problem #2:
Just buy a new cable.

Mine is the second answer. If you are not successful with what the first one told you, then ...
Well, if I told you to email me with your regular address so I could send something to you, my answer might get deleted. Therefore I am not going to do that. But there is a reason I keep my email open. And I do have several solutions you might try. But they are too much to put into one of those tiny text boxes.
If it is a bad cable, all you can do is replace it.
