I am a 21 year old with plenty of experience and more than most people. I like rock and roll, history, politics, and anime including writing fanfiction. I spent five years with a psychatrist so I can try to use that. Mostly I'm a nice guy who really like to help people and I will try to do that the best I can.
Bypassing administrative password?
So I need to bypass my Windows 7 administrative password. I get to my admin password and it tells me my password in wrong. It even appears in safe mode and I don't have a cd/usb to change it. Is there a way I can disable this so it just goes into my account?
4 AnswersSecurity7 years agoSelf-confidence issues?
So, I've wanted to make YouTube videos with either my voice (and I just got a microphone yesterday) or my webcam but, I suffer from very low self-esteem largely the result of bullying in school. Basically, I need advice on how to overcome this.
2 AnswersPsychology7 years agoScorecardresearch pop-up?
I am curious about this Scorecardrearch pop-up ad. It came up on my screen and I changed the page without touching it it hasn't come up since. I scanned and nothing came up not even a cookie. I am wondering if I'm okay or is there anything else I should do.
2 AnswersSecurity7 years agoQuestion about Outlook?
So when I logged into my Outlook account today it seemed slower than normal and when I tried to access folders it was unable to complete the task. Yesterday it also kind of happened but, was shorter than today. It's alright now but, I won't to keep it from happening in the future so does anybody know what could be wrong and if so how can I fix it?
1 AnswerMSN7 years agoSuspending Yahoo Answers account?
I am sick of this website and I want to suspend my account (I'm hesitant to delete it just yet). This site is full of racists and trolls and I can't stand it anymore. I've also had answers reported for now reason and the final straw came when I was reported after I reported a Holocaust denier. So, please help me figure out how to suspend my account so I can come back to it if possible.
5 AnswersYahoo Answers7 years agoTwo computer problems.?
Okay, so I have not been able to access my laptop for two years now because of a password problem. For some reason, it wouldn't accept my password; type it in and after a few seconds it tells me the password is incorrect. I've gotten this screen when I first log on telling me my computer is password locked and I need to input my password. I do and it works fine but, when I try to log in to access the computer it's self it tells me it's incorrect. I've tried everything from safe mode, to repairing it to factory direct mode and nothing is working. Is there anyway to surpass it?
My second problem is my desktop, one of the cables is messed up and the color on the monitor as had a blue tint and now a puke greenish color too. I now I need to get a new one but is there anything I can do for now to get the color back to normal?
2 AnswersDesktops7 years agoCan someone explain this to me?
So I heard some sort of Doomsday virus is supposed to hit computers tomorrow. Is that true? What can I do to prevent it? If it does hit will it go away on it's own? Will it start at midnight? Am I guaranteed to get hit? I'm really freaking out and need answers.
3 AnswersSecurity9 years agoWhat's wrong with my microwave?
For some unknown reason my microwave won't work anymore. It just flashes 88 88 on the screen and we've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but that isn't working. It's a veteran microwave and despite some minor bumps it's been reliable and never had a problem like this. It was working earlier and just stopped working on it's own for no apparent reason. Anyone have any ideas?
6 AnswersOther - Electronics9 years agoWhy does this keep happening?
I'm not always around my computer obviously so of course the screen on the monitor will go black when the computer is inactive for a period of time trying to save power and I simply move my mouse and my screensaver is back. But on occasion the screen will stay black no matter what I do (this just happened a little while ago). I know it's not an infection. My computer is nearly three years old and my monitor especially isn't in the best condition so I think that's the problem. Can anyone shed some insight?
1 AnswerMonitors9 years agoAir freshener in the eyes?
About an hour ago I sprayed air freshener in my living room and some of it accidentally got into my eyes. I've rinsed my eyes twice with water and my vision is okay but I my eyes just feel odd. I didn't get much sleep last night so it might just be that plus I get paranoid easy but I'm nervous so will I be okay or should I go to the walk-in clinic near my house tomorrow (I don't have insurance)?
2 AnswersOptical9 years agoNot sure my religious beliefs?
So I've been having questions about my spiritual/religious affiliation. I was born Catholic before becoming a non-denominational Christian then leaving Christianity and becoming an atheist. I am happy as an atheist but I have been drawn to other religious movements so I'm wondering if my disillusionment with Christianity led me to become an atheist when actually I'm religious just not Christian. I've looked toward other religions yet found problems that disallow me to follow it. I'm a logical person who beliefs in science more than anything and I've identified myself as an atheist for a while now. The thing is I still somewhat belief in a God but the lack of evidence prevents me from believing. I'm confident the Torah, Bible and Quran were merely written by humans (no offense) and I've been looking to Deism but again the lack of evidence God exists hinders me. I could only see God existing as a entity like in the Futurama episode "Godfellas" though that does seem far-fetched.I also have an interest mysticism/occultism that contradicts atheism and my belief in science. I've also been drawn towards Buddhism. I'm not sure if I'm an atheist, deist or what and I would like some insight. Thank you.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoHow can I overcome paranoia?
I have bad paranoia and I am pretty sure it's getting worse. If I see a minor bump on my skin my first thought is I have cancer but it's just a pimple. I had paranoia bad as a child then it sort of improved but I think it's getting worse now. I enjoy my computer and writing on it but now the paranoia is ruining that because after it's happened I fear viruses and malware to the point even a minor issue like my mouse pointer looking bigger on the screen makes me think I'm infected. To makes matters worse I have depression and the paranoia makes it worse by taking away the joys in life I have. I feel trapped and hopeless with no reason to keep going. What can I do?
1 AnswerPsychology9 years agoProblem with Google Chrome?
When I try to search something on Google it doesn't work unless I go to something else like Google Images (it's just Google web search isn't working) and when I turn off the instant search it works but when I click on a link it only opens in another page. I scanned and it's not a virus or malware. I tried Google on Internet Explorer and it worked fine so the problem has to be with Chrome. My friend says Google works fine for him on Chrome. Any ideas how to fix this problem?
Google9 years agoI need to know if this website of safe?
I was scrolling on Wikipedia and accidental clicked on a link to a website called Legislationonline.org and I need to know if it's safe. I'm running a malware scan and so far it has shown nothing nor has there been a problem. I just need the peace of mind.
4 AnswersSecurity9 years agoI am having a spiritual dilemma?
So I've been having questions about my spiritual/religious affiliation. I was born Catholic before becoming a non-denominational Christian then leaving Christianity and becoming an atheist. I am happy as an atheist but I have been drawn to other religious movements so I'm wondering if my disillusionment with Christianity led me to become an atheist when actually I'm religious just not Christian. Some of the other religions I've gotten drawn to are Islam, Shintoism slightly, and Roman polytheistic reconstructionism (Ancient Roman neo-paganism). There have been times when I've been drawn back to Christianity slightly but frankly I have no serious interest in re-joining the Christian religion. Nothing against those who are Christian it's not for me. I've also found an interest in mysticism/occultism as well. I'm not sure if these are really religious interests or simply culturally interests. What do you guys think?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoCan you get diagnoses with a mental illness at a free health clinic?
So I have various problems (depression, paranoia, anxiety that is severe at times) and I was wondering if the free health clinic near my house could diagnose me and help me with this problem.
3 AnswersMental Health9 years agoWhy do I get depressed so easily and how can I fix it?
I don't know why but for some reason I just get depressed easily. I can upset at the smallest things and it doesn't go away. I just got an email saying that my account backing up the files on my laptop has been deactivated and everything will be deleted if I don't reactivate it in two weeks but I can't access my laptop anymore so there really is no point but I might still try and find a way to have the files sent to my desktop. Despite this knowing all the stuff I had on there will be deleted if I don't reactivate the account gets me depressed even though it's not really a big deal. I come from a hectic home life and I think that might be behind it but I don't know and I'm not sure what to do about it.
1 AnswerPsychology9 years agoNeed help with a title?
I need help coming up with a story title. It's an AU story where the Axis powers won WWII and the United States in a Nazi puppet government like Vichy France. The story focuses on an insurgency group called the American Liberation Front (ALF) in the US and it's revolutionary leader James Harrison. Unlike the original goal of the group to free the US, Harrison wants to destroy the entire order of the world under nazism/fascism/militarism and create a just and democratic world in it's place.
3 AnswersBooks & Authors10 years agoQuestion about browser history?
I know that browser history is stored on the hard drive of a computer. We recently had a friend look at our modem and I was wondering if they had looked at the hard drive what are the chances they would have seen the browsing history of that computer?
4 AnswersSecurity10 years agoCan I get family advice?
I can't stand my family.
I live in what is the definition of a dysfunctional home with constant arguing between my grandmother and parents since I was young and often being treated like a child by my lazy dad who enters my room and takes my things without my permission all the time. I love them all but my mother is the only I can talk to. My dad took the $100 I got for graduation for a doctor's appointment co-pay and he promised to repay me the $80 in change. I gave it to him but my stuff is always being taken and that is what upsets me. I am 18 and going to college but despite applying to several jobs I can't find a job and with the money I'll need to spend on college there is no way I can move out with running up a big debt. Can I get some advice please?
