Are liberals begging Republicans to solve the "tough issues" because they know Democrats won't?
Have they finally made the connection between Democrat control of Congress/White House and the increased poverty, increased health care costs and reduced purchasing power that came along with it?

If… the Republicans bogged the congress down by blocking so much of what Obama wanted to achieve, so far, how is it that you are saying that the Republicans are the ones that want to solve "tough issues?" Why do your say that the Democrats control the Congress? When you gave me best answer for the answer that you totally disagreed with and not only that described it as having no rational thought in it—that sounds like the sort of reasoning that you are employing in this "question."— You know how the image of what we see lands on our retina upside down, and then our minds turn them right side up as we process the image? Well, your mind appears not to do the second step. If the Republicans have been controlling congress, then how can you say the Democrats are controlling it? Anyway, 5% best answers doesn't indicate a great intellect.
How about addressing anything I say by sticking to the subject, rather than commenting in excellent English about your insulting interpretation of my behavior. For example, when I comment on your statement that there is increased poverty by saying that the corporations and the rich people that own them are in possession of more and more of the country's wealth, why not address that, rather than just do an ad hominem insulting of me. Furthermore, as to national debt being higher, when I say that this is because of Bush's starting 2 wars and not adding to the national debt, and that what Bush and the Republicans and particularly the unregulated banksters and investment brokers did to this country CAUSED the Great Recession, which we are still slowly climbing out of SINCE OBAMA TOOK OFFICE, (before Obama took office thousands of jobs were disappearing, being lost every month, and since Obama took office, jobs have been being added every single month,) —these are facts. Why do you not say something besides insults about my thinking ability? What about the facts? Did you really read what I wrote? Are you now? It's not good intellectual practice to not think about what the other person is saying, but just dismiss in out of hand.
Yahoo Answers isn't supposed to be giving lessons in how best to attack people while not giving them any facts to validate your insults.
Here is a quote for you, and I've seen these statistics over and over. AND more. And I'm quite distressed about them. The country is receding back towards monarchy.
"However, after the Great Recession which started in 2007, the share of total wealth owned by the top 1% of the population grew from 34.6% to 37.1%, and that owned by the top 20% of Americans grew from 85% to 87.7%. The Great Recession also caused a drop of 36.1% in median household wealth but a drop of only 11.1% for the top 1%, further widening the gap between the 1% and the 99%.[18][23][24] During the economic expansion between 2002 and 2007, the income of the top 1% grew 10 times faster than the income of the bottom 90%. In this period 66% of total income gains went to the 1%, who in 2007 had a larger share of total income than at any time since 1928."

I'm really worried. This is not happening because of Obama. Thank goodness Boehner scolded the Tea Partiers today. I hope that's the beginning of their slide back to obscurity.

No.
Liberals don't beg republicans for anything (except maybe to nominate Palin for Pres in 2016).
We figured out a long time ago that Republicans are useless when it comes to solving problems.

No. Liberals are begging Republicans to solve the "tough issues" because they are tired of Republicans blocking Democrats from doing anything either.
How can we be living in an era where liberal policies have failed when Republicans brag about how effective they are at blocking and preventing those liberal policies from being implemented?

Are you kidding? Republicans cause poverty and then complain about paying their victims to not starve to death. In an effort to bring back jobs and create a level playing field, name a republican that demand that all imports be made on par with our labor and environmental laws?
The GOP should be called the entitlement party. They think they're entitled to cheap goods off the backs of other peoples misery.

Actually I don't think Liberals care about solving problems. Only keeping chaos in tact and the voter base stirred up. That is about it. They for sure don't have any issues in their platform that can be proven.
@whoyeah .. Republicans have passed repeal Obamacare .. over 30 times...with its 27 new taxes and loss of insurance for millions .. it is a show stopper.

How do we educate the ignorant?
How do we shelter the homeless?
How do we care for the sick?
How do we treat the Veterans?
How do we help the helpless?
How do we get justice?
How do we help the Mentally ill?
The Republican answer is so EASY!.......Just change "we" to "you".......their problem is solved!

No. Liberals don't care about facts. They just want power. Liberals want the government to run everything.

Then please point out the legislation the Republicans have passed to help out the general welfare. What have you done that can stand as a great or even a good example to prove anybody can trust you? The last thing you passed like that was the EPA, quite a while ago and now you hate it. So again show your trustworthiness to us.

No. We are fully aware of how Republican's act when they are in power. Republicans might have had a chance if they actually delivered the fiscal responsibility they promised, but they just want socialized profits for their big donors.
