Do i need to pay royalties to mix two songs together and sell them?

Im mixing together two songs, recording it and selling the product. i mixed the two songs together thoroughly in essence creating new content. do i still need to pay the creators of the original songs royally? and if so, how do i get in contact with them to do so?

    You are violating copyright for both songs. You don't just "pay royalties;" you have to get permission from the copyright owner. It may be the creator, it may be the record company.
