Is this statment true or false for the USA, and please explain why?

People who escape poverty are treated as suspects and enemies of the country.

    Well that is very hard to determine with a large population like America. I live in Britain and even if everyone in Britain thought that people who escape from poverty are enemys of the country then America could still contain more people who disagree.

    False. Poverty is a relative term. Those who rise up frequently do so on their own merits, and no one really notices. LeBron James, an NBA basketball player, was dirt poor while in high school. He went on to become a multimillionaire. He is treated like a hero because he plays the game so well. No one complains that he has money.
