Reiners - how much do you pay for sliders?

My horse is sliding about 5-7 feet consistently, so I'd like to get him shod with sliding plates. First of all, do you think that's far enough for me to make the investment of sliders? And how much do you usually pay for sliders? I've heard everything from $40 to $200!

Update:

Thank you for answering, great to hear from a fellow reiner!:)

Do they have to be front shod to have sliders?

I pay $125 for all four to get shod (slide plates in the back, shoes in the front) plus a trim. In my opinion, you need sliders no matter what. Not having sliders can do some serious damage to their hocks because without them, it can be a rough stop. It's just not good for their legs at all. glad to talk to a fellow Reiner :)
