Do you feel it is better to give, than receive; receive than give, or both, this time of year?
I find that giving to those in need, or those that cannot afford to spend much, especially children, is so much more rewarding and makes me infinitely happier, than receiving. A smile, a hug, a heartfelt thank you, are the best gifts I can receive …. and from those that I hold dear, and love ……. a warm kiss and hug.

When I feel I got the gift right I'm excited to give it out but when I feel I couldn't find the right gift or been rushed to choose something and its thoughtless I feel embarrassed giving it out. I sometimes hate being given presents because they won't be what I want or need and I will be forced to look very happy to get it. I don't like opening presents in person but I have to most of the time. I like it best when I'm asked and told exactly what to get instead of being stuff I don't want or like and then having to keep them...and vice versa.

Give. Give of your time and any other resources you can spare. It does the soul much better to give than to receive. And while this is a hard lesson for many of us to learn at first. It always pays in different ways eventually. With friendships that last a long time.

in my heart I feel that it is better to give than receive because the look on their face the feeling in your heart is just such a motion of a bounty full of love you just cannot replace and give you such a feeling that's just so on explainable it's beautiful
