Can someone explain USPS regional boxes?
I feel like an idiot but the post office's website didn't explain anything. I am use to using flat rate boxes. What I am shipping seems to be just too big for a large flat rate box and the CHEAPEST option when I went to the post office was $27!! I see a regional box would be $15 to ship the same thing. I am trying to ship from East Coast to West Coast of that helps. Can I get the regional boxes at the post office? I didn't see them at my local one.. But there is a bigger one that isn't too far. I am just looking for ANY cheaper shipping option. So any other solutions would be good too. UPS and FedEx online quote was similar in price. Thank you!!
What is the difference Between regional A and B? Does that mean the box needs to ship in my region? I need to ship literally across the country.

USPS Regional Boxes (types A & B) are one of the least expensive methods for shipping an item. An employee at my local Post Office had to dig one out of the back office. They can be hard to find. Check out the USPS website to get a shipping estimate:
