Does anyone actually like The Wanted or Miley Cyrus?

I am a metalhead, so my answer is not biased here when I say...

I like Miley Cyrus's song 'Wrecking ball'. The video and nakedness are irrelevant in my decision.

The lyrics use metaphor, and its a pretty strong metaphor. most artists... well, don't. I find Modern song writing appaling. Often its not even catchy nowadays, face numbingly repetitive. Yeah this song has repitition but at least not the same word over and over and over again.

This song also has an unusual and interesting tonal flourish at the end of the chorus. I mean, they must have thought that through pretty well.

I don't know why everyone has to choose between TW and 1D. I like both, not a rabid fan or anything. 1D was on the X Factor. TW got signed by Scooter Braun, who has become incredibly successful in a very short period of time. The way he does this is by signing not only attractive people, but people who can SING. I don't like Justin Bieber, but in the video that Scooter picked him from, you couldn't see his face. That says something about his 'talent'. Carly Rae Jepson , Ariana Grande, JB, TW, and Psy (of Gangdam Style) are all people signed by Scooter.

I personally don't like Miley Cyrus, but I know people who do. Her Hannah Montana audience is growing up, many in between the ages of 14 and 16, which is a hard time for many people. They're trying to figure out what they want to do for the rest of their life in a very short period of time. They think Miley has it all figured out. She (was) engaged to Liam Hemsworth, super gorgeous, her body looks great, and she can smoke weed whenever she wants, even on stage and no one will stop her. Add to that the fact she is getting paid millions of dollars, seems like a pretty good life, doesn't it?

Yes, once you get past all of her antics Miley is actually talented and anyone that has worked with her will tell you the same. The wanted not so much because I'm not of fan of guys on stage and not dancing or doing something for me money besides singing. If I just want to hear them sing I'd just buy the album.

I like Miley. If people would actually just watch some of her damned interviews, she's fully aware of the actions she does and she has reasons behind them. She's also pretty pro-"Enjoy your damned life! (as long as it not's hurting others)"

Nope. None of them make good music along with one direction, Beiber and all that bullsh!t.
